Hand crafted & Painted Jewelry Imported From Mexico

Our craftswoman started painting alebrijes (folk art) 19 years ago, when she was 12 years old. All of her sisters learned this work from a very young age when there were few artisans in the community of Arrazola which resides in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico. She learned this art from her sisters.

About 8 years ago, she decided to devote herself to making jewelry since the elaboration of alebrijes is a tradition in Oaxaca, but she and her husband wanted to do something different using their own imaginations and designs. At that time only 3 craftsmen made this type of product and their designs began to stand out because of their unique designs. Since then, they have evolved a lot, despite the fact that in the market there are many wooden hearts.

They have a unique model, which till today we take care of and no craftsman uses our technique, therefore they are unique pieces. They design wooden necklaces that include dragonflies, butterflies, flowers, and hummingbirds. They also make bracelets, rings, earrings, key-rings and much much more.
